When I buy the Sign Rise Pod, I have to use my car or any other vehicle to displaying my products.

However, what if I do not use my car for business, or if the use of the car is not allowed as a business expense due to the tax laws of my country…..Or if I have never truly needed the vehicle for work?

Now that I have bought a Sign Rise Pod I need to take my car to work, in order to transport my Sign Rise Pod, to generate more clients for my business.

Now that the car is working up to 8 hours per day for my business…..I should be able to claim some business expense related to the car, as a marketing or promotional expense and deduction. 

E.g. I have a car valued at $60,000

·         If the car log book say, 50% is now used for the business, and hence  $30,000 qualifies as a capital cost for claiming depreciation.

·         Say 20% depreciation

·         On $30,000, depreciation per annum is $6,000 per year for the next 5 years on a prime cost basis.

·         If company tax is say 30%, this would be $1,800 tax reduction for your car per annum, plus the actual tax back on your $8,000 Sign Rise Pod which would be around $2,000.  With these figures it should mean $3,800 in your pocket in the first year alone.  Is this correct?

If your advisor says “NO”

Suggest that is a tradesman can get a deduction for transporting bulky equipment and tools that the same principle should apply here.

Ask him if “racing cars” are advertising expenses, and if they qualify as business expenses, why not this?  Are “Advertising trailers” on the side of the road, tax deductible?  Not just the sign but the entire trailer? May be!!!

Your car can generate more leads than the Yellow Pages, yet the Yellow Pages is tax deductible?

Surely a greater percentage of your car s now a tax deduction through your business?

Can you buy a new car in the business name for the Sign Rise purposes?
